Trauma can live in the body long after an experience is over. You might look “fine” on the outside but still feel tense, anxious, or disconnected within. Therapy for trauma and PTSD helps you process what happened without reliving it, giving your nervous system a chance to finally rest.
we use approaches like EMDR, Somatic Therapy, and IFS to help you gently release the emotional and physical weight of trauma. Our Black and diverse therapists understand that trauma doesn’t just come from one event and it can stem from racism, generational wounds, or chronic stress from existing in systems not built for you. Here, therapy is about reclaiming safety, power, and connection to your body, your story, and your future.

  • Feeling “on edge” or easily startled

  • Nightmares or flashbacks about painful experiences

  • Difficulty trusting others or letting your guard down

  • Emotional numbness or disconnection from your body

  • Avoiding reminders of the past
